Religious Education

Did you know???

Formation in the Faith of the Church is a basic requirement for every Catholic following the reception of the Sacrament of Baptism. In agreeing to have their children baptized, parents accept the duty to raise their children in the faith.  At a minimum, students not currently enrolled in a Catholic school in the Diocese of Richmond should be enrolled in parish religious formation.  At St Joseph, multiple opportunities are provided for ensuring the proper formation of our young people.

We have classes for Pre-K 4 year olds through 5th grade and introducingMiddle School Ministry for 6-8th graders and for our Confirmation for High Schoolers, and even 2 Adult classes (for more info...click Adult Education.)

All these classes are held Sundays at St. Joseph Catholic School (123 Franklin St.) from 9:45 - 11:00 am during the academic year.

Keep checking in.... we will post the updated schedule on the website as we launch the year and it will be shared when you register your children for Religious Education at the link below.

We are also introducing   High School ministry!!! We will be meeting on designated Sunday afternoons from 3:00-5:00 pm in the Parish Hall at St. Joseph Church.
