Edge
Middle School Youth Ministry
Where Faith Meets Fun
Middle schoolers crave belonging, exploration, and a place to ask big questions. Edge meets them right where they are with a ministry that is dynamic, hands‑on, and deeply rooted in Catholic teaching.
Edge provides interactive catechesis along with games, activities, small groups, and prayer—helping young teens understand their faith, navigate life, and form friendships in a welcoming community.
Why Edge Works
- Designed specifically for early adolescents
- Interactive and relational
- Grounded in the same Life Teen movement that launched Edge in 2003 for middle school youth
- A safe place to grow spiritually, socially, and emotionally

Life Teen
High School Youth Ministry
Encounter. Belong. Become.
High school is a pivotal time—full of questions, discovery, and growth. Life Teen at St. Joseph walks with teens on that journey, helping them encounter Christ, build authentic friendships, and discover their purpose.
Life Teen isn’t simply a youth group. It’s a Eucharist‑centered movement that forms young disciples through Scripture, Sacraments, honest conversation, prayer, fun, and community. Teens experience a place where they are deeply seen, known, and loved.

Petersburg Catholic Young Adults
For Adults Aged 18 to 35
Community. Formation. Mission.
Born September 2025, The Petersburg Catholic Young Adults group was formed through the vision and leadership of the Saint Joseph Young Adult Council, responding to the growing desire among young adults for deeper connection, community, faith formation, and shared mission.
This ministry provides opportunities for prayer, fellowship, service, and meaningful discussion—all within a supportive Catholic community for ages 18–35.
We meet regularly for faith connection, social gatherings, and service events.

Adult Forum
For Adults of All Ages
Growing in Faith as a Community
Our Adult Forum meets every Sunday during Religious Education and is open to all adults seeking to deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith. Each week offers something new—Scripture study, Catholic teaching, guided discussion, Church history, spiritual enrichment, and opportunities to reflect on how the Gospel transforms our daily lives.
This is a welcoming space for lifelong learners, those returning to the Church, parents wanting to grow alongside their children, and anyone desiring a richer encounter with Christ.
Always Welcoming More Adult Studies
We are blessed by parishioners who bring their gifts as facilitators, teachers, and discussion leaders. If you feel called to help lead a small group, run a Bible study, or assist in adult catechesis in any way, we warmly invite you to reach out.
