Fr. O'Reilly began serving St. Joseph parish in 2020 after two years as a parochial vicar at Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church, Roanoke. He studied for the priesthood at St. Mary's Seminary, Baltimore and was ordained in 2018. His home parish is St. Joan of Arc, Yorktown.
